Fasces

Sticker placed on a concrete post. It says (redacted) and features Fleur-De-Lis, an eagle perched on fasces, a neo-Nazi styled Celtic Cross, a QR code, and a link to a Telegram page (sensored). The fasces are highlighted and fasces line art is placed over the image for reference.

Fasces are an ancient Roman symbol featuring a bound bundle of sticks tied around an axe. Though the symbol has been used in non-hateful settings, it is primarily known as the symbol of Italian fascism, as adopted by Benito Mussolini during his rise to power. Today, fasces are used as a more discrete alternative to other prominent symbols of fascism, like the swastika, of which the use is more stigmatized.
