Arrow Cross

Illustration of a soldier, a baby, he is holding, and a woman. All all fair-skinned, blond, dressed in dated clothing, and smiling. Behind them is a city on fire and a large Arrow Cross watermarked. The Arrow Cross is highlighted, appearing like a cross but with arrow tips on each end. Text behind is sensored.

The Arrow Cross was the symbol of Hungary's Arrow Cross Party, a fascist, ethnonationalist party installed by Nazi Germany to govern Hungary in 1944. Under Arrow Party rule, Hungary assisted Nazi Germany with mass killings and enslavement of at least tens of thousands of Jewish and Romani Hungarians. Though not necessarily as common as other fascist symbols, it has been used in some neo-Nazi movements since.
